EZ Knitter's Almanac - January sweater

Interesting Sweater! These traveling stitches can be fun - until you drop one and it runs 17 inches! Needless to say this sweater made for a little challenage. After having reknit the 17 inches and finishing the sweater - then came the steeks. I have steeked before, this is not new to me in fact I love it! My sewing machine did not want to work on this particular item - so I crocheted the steek. Then cut. Everything seemed fine - then it happened. Part of the steek started unraveling. This took some interesting and invented fixing. I am happy to say I got it fixed and mailed off to Knit Picks. This was made with Wool of the Andes from Knit Picks.

Sock Tote

Here we look at the tote which holds only sock yarn. 25,479 yards plus 4 misc skeins which yardage is unknown. There are 105 skeins. It appears that I can make 72 pairs. I love socks. It will be very very difficult to not buy any more sock yarn until this tote is gone. I will work hard on this!

The Stash

Some of you have been asking about my Stash. Well here it is - in all its glory! I think I have found all the yarn in the house. Now it is time to organize. I only have 2 more days to have this done. Must do things like this when husband is out of town. I will go through find all the UFO's, decide to keep or Frog them.

Birthday Present

Kromski Spinning Wheel, Carders, Knitting Notty, 2 bags of Good Fleece! What a wonderful present. I am excited and can't wait till the spinning looks good.
